Hey guys!
Welcome back to the blog!
It’s been a while, hasn’t it?
I’ve missed writing for you all, but life has been quite busy lately, and I’ve allowed that to take me away from this space. But I’m back now, and I’m excited to catch up!
So, a lot has changed since the last time I wrote to you. Your girl has turned 20! I’m honestly so grateful to God for bringing me to this milestone. Not everyone makes it to twenty, and I don’t take that for granted. I’m constantly learning more about myself and growing in ways I didn’t expect. I’m on a journey of discovering who I am, and it’s been an eye-opening experience.
If you follow me on social media, you’ll know that I spent my birthday a little differently this year. Instead of having a typical celebration, I spent the week evangelising. It was such a meaningful experience to be out there sharing the gospel. I really feel that God is calling me into evangelism, and I’ve developed a deep burden for those who don’t know Him yet.
As Christians, we’re called to share the good news with others, just as Jesus did. You can watch the vlog here: https://youtu.be/avawNy-THq4?si=WRdiE45SCZ2Toqms
This year, I’ve really been learning to focus less on what I don’t have and more on what I do have. I used to find myself comparing my life to others, especially on social media, and wishing I had more. But in February, I had the chance to serve alongside some amazing friends, helping people in need, and it shifted my perspective.
I was part of an event called "Crowned with Care," where hairstylists from Leicester and across the UK provided free hairstyling and barbering services to black children and teenagers (aged 5–18) in the care system. It was such a humbling and beautiful experience. You can listen here about it: https://leicestershirepress.com/2025/03/24/audio-free-crowned-with-care-hairstyling-event-empowers-young-black-people-in-foster-care-in-leicester/
I also had the opportunity to travel to Scotland with my church, shout out to Arc 2.0! We partnered with a church in Aberdeen called Junction Church, and it was such an amazing time of connection and fellowship. It’s such a blessing to know that no matter where we are in the world, we are united in Christ. I really hope to travel more, sharing the gospel with people from different cultures and learning from them as well.
Speaking of serving, last weekend, the ministry I’m part of, ‘The Revival Society’, marched from Brixton Station to London Bridge to share the gospel and distribute homeless care packages. We did this by God’s grace, and I’m not saying it to boast but to encourage you, whoever is reading this, to think about others. In this world, we often focus on what we want or don’t have, but when you shift your focus to helping others, life feels so much more fulfilling.
Alongside my evangelism journey, I’ve also been in my hosting era! I had the opportunity to host two events in February, and I’m finally starting to find my feet in this area. One of the events I hosted was a “Galentines” event for BelEve, a national charity that inspires and supports the next generation of female leaders. It was such a blessing to be part of their community and to help empower young girls to make informed choices about their futures.
The second event I hosted was the Found Brunch, celebrating their one-year anniversary. It was such an honour to be their host, I loved seeing women of God come together to glorify His kingdom. It was a beautiful space where people shared their talents, testimonies, and simply enjoyed fellowship together.
February really was a month of unlocking my true potential, and I’m excited to see what God has in store for me next. Now, it’s all about establishing myself and continuing to trust the process. And I want you to be a part of that journey with me, so we can see where God leads.
Before I leave you guys, I want to leave you with a few questions to reflect on:
Who am I? Why am I here? What can I do?
Take some time to spend with God, ask Him these questions, and trust that He will reveal the answers to you.
It’s amazing how much clarity we can gain when we truly seek His will for our lives.
I’ve really enjoyed writing this post and sharing a little bit of what’s been going on with me.
Thanks for catching up with me, and I’ll talk to you soon.
Until then, remain blessed!
Much love,
Preshh
